Super Bowl 2011 at Las Vegas’ Stirling Club

February 8, 2011 · view comments

The Stirling Club is a fairly exclusive, members-only club on Paradise Road across from the Las Vegas Hilton which has a bang-up Superbowl Party every year with two gi-normous screen TV’s to watch the game (and ads)  and a fabulous, stadium foods buffet.

And a grand entry way.

This is what the dining room looks like normally.

It was split in two for Super Bowl.

Our Table

Our table complete with ice cold beer.

Buffet at the Sterling Club

The Super Bowl Buffet was in it’s own large room.

Each side held a different type of food.

Assorted Salads

With plenty of space to walk around and choose.

Giant Soft Pretzels

Their was every type of food you could possibly expect at any of the big stadiums.

Deli Sandwich Station

Deli Sandwiches

With a nod to both Wisconsin and the Iron City.

Wisconsin Cheddar & Chicken

This Cheddar and Chicken dish looked horrible (chunks of chicken, cheddar, Ritz crackers and macaroni) and I didn’t try it until some other party goers told me I had to have some since it was so good.   And, it was.  I went back twice for more.

Iron City Beer Braised Short Ribs

These Short Ribs looked good……didn’t taste very good.

Brats

These, on the other hand, were yummy.

Antipasti

Decent enough Antipasto.

Corn Dogs & Waffle Fries

The Chef prepared items that every fan would love.

BBQ Chicken

An array of condiments for the hamburgers and hot dogs.

Condiments & Dressings

This was my favorite dish.  I had 3 bowls of the chili (which went great with beer).

Beef & Bean Chili

Probably the healthiest thing I ate.

Buttermilk Dressing

The Dessert Bar at the Sterling Club, Las Vegas

The Dessert Bar was everyone’s favorite:  candy, ice cream bars, S’Mores, cookies, chips, Cracker Jack, cupcakes….wow!

A great game, great place, great food and a great time with our friends, Paul & Francine.
